To RAISE animals or to CARE FOR animals (but not to grow, which would be used for vegetables in a garden).  

Perhaps you can get a robotic dog like in the book:)

I don’t have a pet. Because my mom doesn’t like to grow animals at home. But I want to have a pet like dog after several years. ^^
